dc.description.abstract Health care facilities are poor in the tribal area of the world. Similarly, status of tribal health service centres is also poor in the country. The present study has been attempted to find out the status of primary health centres in Dhadgaon Tahsil. The main objective of this study is to find out the status of tribal health service centres and to study the tribal Jiealth service centres as per relief, population and area. Service rendering capacity of the tribal health service centre depends upon population, area and relief. This study is based on entirely secondary data. For this study average population per composite weightage and average area per composite weightage are calculated. It is prove that, all primary health centres do not serve an equal amount of population. It is obvious that, lower the number of average population per weightage, greater the efficiency of health service centres. The location of the PHC also plays an important role on the quality of health services. en_US
