dc.description.abstract The grass called Cynodon dactylon is a valuable medicinal plant which is use to cure several diseases. After extracting compound from the plant in methanol, it was to sequential subjected liquid liquidextraction method to extract compound into several solvents like hexane, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, ethyl acetate. Water extraction of Cynodon dactylon was also carried. The compounds present in each extraction were identified by TLC. Further, Column chromatography for some selected extractions were subjected to 1R analyzes. Result indicated that the cynodon dactylon contain saponin, steroid, triterpinoid and flevanoid. en_US
