dc.description.abstract Monasticism has been a central feature of the Buddhist tradition from the inception of Buddhism to its current revival and has been spread throughout the world. In Monasticism and Modesty, all rules are devoted to living as a monk. The Vinaya is considered a rich source for writing the history of the community of early Buddhist nuns. Therefore, in this article, a complete description of Buddhist Vinaya and Buddhist nuns will be given. In this article, an attempt will be made to focus on the relationship between the two most important aspects of monastic assemblage among Buddhist nuns in the modern era. Firstly, how the nuns present themselves; and secondly, how they are embedded in their revival discourse and ethics discourse. Her statement may be an important subject of public debate, as it relates to disputes about the tradition and recognition of the high ordination of nuns. This would be related to the cultivation of their moral dispositions (Sïla) such as moderation and discipline, which are essential to the tradition, and which would be based on the daily activities and the everyday life of nuns. In addition, the article will argue how nuns lead a collective lifestyle related to the strength and tradition of their morality. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to explore the revival of Buddhist nuns in the modern era. This study will also analyse several Vinaya passages based on modified perspectives, addressing the life of a nun. en_US
