dc.description.abstract | Chronic pyelonephritis is induced by recurrent or persistent renal infection. It is said to occur in patients with major anatomic anomalies, including urinary tract obstruction, calculi, renal dysplasia, or most commonly, vesicoureteral reflux in young children.
