Abstract:
During the past decade, energy crisis for petroleum products is a considerable
factor for the sustainability. Hence the biodiesel production is a good alternative
energy which is one of the most promising energy sources. Biodiesel production
from waste cooking oil is one of the alternative process developments for the energy
crisis which has better economic and environmental advantages through a
continuous production. This causes an increase in viscosity and the formation of
gels. In addition, the method for the removal of the catalyst after reaction is
practically difficult and a large amount of wastewater is produced in order to
separate and clean the products, which increases the overall cost of the process. As a
result, in this research define effective way to produce biodiesel by optimizing the
process, further control the temperature and methanol recovery.
