Abstract:
There are different weed control strategies to control weeds, for example,
manual evacuating strategy, substance control, natural control, and
mechanical control. Out of all the weed control strategies, mechanical
techniques are the most attainable and have enormous outcomes. Mechanical
weed control involves the use of various tools and equipment to manage and
eliminate unwanted vegetation in agricultural and landscaping settings. One
specific tool was designed and developed to be used for this purpose and is
called the brush cutter weeder. While considering the mechanical weed
controlling methods, the brush cutter weeder is the most applicable
alternative for medium-scale farmers because it reduces the efforts that were
put in by farmers in terms of money, labor, time, and physical efforts for
economical weeding operation and cultivation. The weeding wheels of the
brush cutter weeder were modified to add weeds to the top of the crop when
using the machine. This can be used as an organic fertilizer for a crop.
Finally, this overview shows that there are different kinds of techniques that
can be used to control weeds in the field. Based on the research reviews, it
can be suggested that the design and development of a bush cutter as a
weeder was the best solution for the existing weed-control problems. Not
only that, compared to other mechanical weed controllers, this will be a
reasonable cost for a farmer.
