To identify variability in Neovossia indica in the fourteen isolates collected from different agroclimatic areas
of Punjab, pathogenecity tests and isozyme analysis based on starch-gel electrophoresis were carried out.
Depending upon the pathogenic potential, the isolates were categorized into 5 distinct groups. Based on the
analysis of esterase and acid phosphatase the isolates could be grouped into two categories. |
