Abstract:
Multinational organizations (MNO’s) operating in developing countries have long been subject to criticism.
From the time of the powerful trading companies in England, the Netherlands and Germany, they have used
their economic, political and some times military power to ensure their interests. Their economic and
political power; their ability to change the behavior of others, may be as large if not larger than that of local
governments.
