dc.description.abstract In today’s fast-paced world, the role of HR is changing dramatically. With artificial intelligence (AI) reshaping nearly all industries, HR departments across all industries are now harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to streamline recruitment, increase employee engagement, and improve performance management. This article explores how AI-driven tools are transforming HR functions across organisations and illustrates how HR professionals are using these innovations to stay ahead of the curve in an increasingly competitive environment. Using real-world examples, we will see that AI is not just a tool, but a strategic partner to redefine the future of HR. In a thriving metropolis, among tall buildings, lay TechStar Innovations, a not-so-big tech company that was having a tough time finding the right people to join its ranks. The HR department felt like it was running a marathon—one that was lengthy, tiresome, and yielding too few results. When the resume pile became a mountain, HR manager Sarah knew something had to change. One day, she came upon HireVue, an AI-powered recruitment solution that could transform the way they hired. With a mix of hope and skepticism, she and her team decided to give it a try. Several weeks later, Sarah was still astonished. HireVue had halved their time to hire a new employee. The AI in the system assessed video interviews and not only the apparent content of the answers but also the candidates’ body language and vocal tones. It pinpointed the best candidates with perfect accuracy. Now, Sarah and her team could finally give their full attention to what really mattered: making connections with potential hires. The air in the office seemed to lighten, as the candidates appeared to be enjoying the process more and as Sarah’s own team was now fully aligned and appearing to enjoy its work too. At BrightFuture Corp, an innovative marketing agency, the HR professional faced declining employee morale. Once, the very air of the office buzzed with creativity, but employees now seemed to be toiling in grey cubicles, feeling undervalued and not a part of the company’s vision. To get at what was happening, HR Director Mark decided to implement TINYpulse, an AI that gathers feedback from employees in real-time. en_US
