dc.description.abstract The term “workplace flexibility” is an employee’s freedom to choose where, when, and how to work. Examples include options such as job sharing, telecommuting, flexible working hours, and other work arrangements that facilitate a good balance between work and life. Workplace flexibility benefits employees and businesses by promoting better work-life balance, reduced stress, and higher job satisfaction for employees while improving productivity, retention, and engagement for organisations. It also helps attract top talent, optimise resources, and adapt to market changes, making it essential for modern HR strategies to foster an inclusive and healthy work environment. According to “European Management Review” (Paradigms of Flexibility: A Systematic Review of Research on Workplace Flexibility) distinguishes four types of flexibility. en_US
