dc.description.abstract Organizational citizenship behavior enables organizations to create better engagement and commitment of employees, as it makes the employees to contribute beyond their call of duty and the job description without having any expectation of receiving benefits within the formal framework of rewards. In the ICT company, it was highlighted that employees lacked employee engagement, commitment and the willingness to run the extra mile for the organization. There wasn’t any empirical evidence to prove the reasons for lack of employee citizenship behavior at the ICT company. Therefore, the purpose of this study conducted was to examine the relationship between Happiness at work place, organizational learning capability and organizational citizenship behaviour. Based on literature and theories, core variables were identified; Happiness at work place as predictor variable, organizational citizenship behaviour Criterion variable and organizational learning capability as intervening variable. Data gathering was carried out through questionnaires from a sample of 100 IT professionals, who are knowledge workers. Bivariate and multivariate analyses were used for data analysis. According to the findings of the study, Happiness at workplace significantly influences on organizational learning capability and eventually, there is a significant influence on organizational citizenship behaviour. organizational learning capability partially mediate the relationship between Happiness at workplace and organizational citizenship behaviour. The settings that encourage learning to clarify pro-social attitudes have not been considered through the existing attitudinal theories, and this research proves and provides evidence of the need to clarify the relationship between attitudes and behaviors taking into consideration the organizational learning capability. Essentially, Happiness at workplace encourages the motivation to learn, and improve the quality of staff interactions, leading to pro-social behaviours. Thus, creating happiness at workplace and organizational learning capability promotes the organizational citizenship behavior of employees. en_US
